The short answer is no, anyone can create premium topos, but, there are a few additional features that you can get with a Premium membership.

You DON'T need a Premium subscription to:

  • Make free or Premium topos
  • See Premium topos that are maintained by a team you are part of (you will always be able to use the topos of you and your team for free)

You DO need a Premium subscription to:

  • See topo images of Premium topos that are not maintained by a team that you're part of
  • Make suggestions to Premium topos that are not maintained by a team that you're part of
